Seattle | Washington’s "Crater Lake"

📍 Snow Lake This trail offers incredible value! The lake is a stunning, vibrant blue, just like Oregon’s Crater Lake! 🅿️ The trailhead has a large parking lot, right next to the Summit at Snoqualmie Alpental ski resort. Whether it’s winter or summer, a regular sedan can easily access it. From downtown Seattle, it’s only about 50 minutes away (talk about great value!). 🥾 I’d rate the trail as medium difficulty. If you only go to the lake, it’s roughly less than 6 miles round trip, saving you about a mile. If you want to extend the hike, you can continue to Gem Lake, Wright Mountain, and Wildcat Lake—all offering fantastic views. 👙 If the weather is nice, bring your swimsuit, a floatie, towels, and flip-flops. Taking a dip in the lake is the ultimate refreshment! 🍂 I went this past Thursday—the leaves along the trail are already starting to change colors. In 1-2 weeks, the entire mountain should be painted in autumn hues. This is also a great trail for fall foliage viewing! #SeattleHiking #SnowLake #WashingtonTrails #FallFoliage #OutdoorAdventure#Seattle life#travel guide
