Seattle 🇺🇸 Ultimate Korean Soup & Rice Guide
Rainy days in Seattle ☔️ can feel gloomy, but nothing cheers up a Korean soup lover like a steaming hot bowl of comforting soup! 🥳 Here’s my go-to list of Korean soup spots that never disappoint: 🍲 Bon Korean Cuisine Craving something bold and flavorful? Try their Spicy Blood Sausage Soup – hearty, warming, and packed with ingredients! Their Beef Bone Soup is light and delicate, perfect for family members who prefer milder flavors. Personally, I love their Pork Spine Soup, loaded with perilla leaves – a must-try if you’re a perilla fan! 🌿 🍲 Cho Dang Tofu A long-time favorite! I stumbled upon this popular tofu soup spot during my move to Seattle. The fried fish appetizer is so good, I always end up stealing my family’s portion – it totally reminds me of BCD Tofu House! Their Stone Pot Bibimbap and Beef Short Ribs are also delicious. 🍚🔥 🍲 The Third Place Don’t let the small, cozy space fool you – this gem may be tiny, but it’s mighty in flavor! I tried their Kimchi Stew during a quiet weekday lunch, and it hit the spot – not too sour, just the way I like it. Prices are reasonable, and I’m already planning to go back for their fried chicken! 🍗 🍲 Pike’s Noodle A happy accidental find with my friends – and it turned out to be super popular! Rumor has it it’s owned by Baek Jong-won? (There’s a photo of him on the wall! 😲) The menu is extensive, featuring Korean-Chinese classics like sweet and sour pork. Portions are HUGE! I’ve tried the Pork Jajangmyeon and Seafood Noodle Soup, both loaded with ingredients. Their Beef Soup is light, soothing, and perfect for a tired soul. ❤️🩹 Got more Korean soup recommendations?
