Seattle 🍣 Off-Peak Dining at Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi

Visited Ascend on the day before Valentine’s Day (because it was fully booked on the actual day 🙄 It was much tastier than expected! The bread before the meal was a pleasant surprise; it’s been a while since I’ve had bread that wowed me. For the appetizer, we chose the Sushi taco with king salmon and ikura, and for the sushi roll, we went with the spicy tuna and prosciutto, both were rich in flavor and highly recommended. 😋 For the main course, we selected the American Wagyu Filet Mignon. As a steakhouse, the steak was just okay, comparatively, I might recommend the Rib Eye more. In summary, this is a steakhouse where the Japanese cuisine is better than the steak.
