Seattle Aquarium’s Grand Opening

The new aquarium near Pike Place has finally opened today, with a hefty investment behind it. Now, with one ticket, you can visit both locations. It’s $48 for Washington state residents and$50 for out-of-state visitors. 🎉🐟 The opening day was packed with people, lots of kids too, making it a great place to take the little ones for a stroll 😂 However, the new aquarium is actually quite small and not that impressive… I feel like the old one has more diversity in marine life?! The large platform from Pike Place to the coast is almost complete too~ Everyone should check it out on the weekend and also visit the newly renovated Pier 62~ It’s very relaxing to look at the sea and feel the breeze, and there’s a beautiful sunset in the evening.
