🐠 Seattle Aquarium – A Full Guide & Review! 🦦

Just spent the most delightful day at the Seattle Aquarium — here’s everything you need to know before you go! 📍 Location: 1483 Alaskan Way Pier 59, Seattle, WA 98101 ⏰ Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM 🎟️ Tickets: Prices vary (usually $30–$40+) — book early for discounts! Free ticket hack: King County Library offers free passes released daily at 2 PM for dates 14 days ahead. Only 12 available per day — each pass admits up to 4 people aged 4+. Kids 3 and under are free! 🅿️ Parking: Plenty of paid lots nearby (pricey but convenient). 🐟 Pier 59 – Touch & Feel Zone Gently touch sea anemones, sea stars, and sea cucumbers — but no touching the fish! 😄 Sea anemones give a cool “electric” tingle Sea stars feel rough & textured Sea cucumbers are soft and squishy 💡 The water is FREEZING though — brace yourself! 🥶 🦦 Pier 60 – Birds & Marine Mammals Home to the cutest sea otters! We saw feeding time and watched Ruby, the new otter, playing with ice cubes and showing off her energy. So lively and fun! (RIP to the older otter who recently passed 💔) 🌊 Ocean Pavilion – Across the Street A stunning two-floor modern space with: A massive central tank filled with graceful swimming fish Super relaxing to watch — I could stare all day 🐠✨ Great for photos and quiet moments ✅ Final Tips: Don’t miss any floors — each section offers something special! Perfect for kids, dates, or a calm solo trip Combine your visit with a stroll to Pike Place Market nearby 🏷️ #SeattleAquarium #SeaOtterLove #TouchTanks #FreeInSeattle #FamilyFun #UnderTheSea #WashingtonState
