Seattle Fine Dining at Its Finest | CANLIS 🥂
🌟After waiting for six months, I finally got to dine at the renowned Canlis. Every time I don’t take I-5 north, I pass by this place, and its distinctive appearance and secluded elegance are hard to miss. My boyfriend has been setting reminders since February to snag a reservation, and we finally got one the day after our anniversary… 🌟This place is hands down the best fine dining experience I’ve had in Seattle, perfectly catering to Asian tastes. 🌟The menu offers 9 courses, with a choice of one dish from each section, and three fixed dishes for everyone: appetizer(p1), snack(p2), and bread with soup(p3). I recommend choosing the American Wagyu for your entrée(p5), and the Smoked Cacao for dessert (I didn’t take a photo, but it’s nougat slices wrapped around ice cream - delicious). 🌟The overall ambiance is fantastic, with the table facing Union Lake. However, since they might want every guest to enjoy the view, it’s a side-by-side seating arrangement, which can be a bit tricky for taking photos… 🌟The service is impeccable; it’s the first time I’ve seen a waiter ironing the tablecloth with an iron after laying it out as if no one else is around - hilarious. If you’re a larger group sitting at a round table, you’ll experience the spectacular sight of multiple servers appearing and serving simultaneously. It’s perfect for birthdays, dates, anniversaries, and it’s best to book at least two months in advance. #Seattle #SeattleFood #AtmosphericRestaurant
