Seattle Food|Jiang Nan – Pine Nut Perch with Roast Duck

📍 11111 NE 8th St 120, Bellevue, WA 98004 🥘 Pine Nut Perch($48.95) Presentation was decent (I have a sweet tooth 😃, so it worked for me). The crispy fried fish is served with a sweet and sour tomato-based sauce, topped with pine nuts, green peas, and diced carrots — refreshing and appetizing with a crispy outside and tender inside. 🦆 Beijing Roast Duck (Half, $48.00) The classic accompaniments were just what I missed — thin pancakes, scallions, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce. The duck skin and meat were fine, nothing extraordinary, but rolling it up yourself felt wonderfully nostalgic and satisfying! 🐟 Grandma’s Crispy Fish($16.95) A cold appetizer! The fried fish skin is super crispy, reminiscent of childhood snacks. Tasty especially because it’s sweet — best enjoyed with rice. 🍚 White Rice($2.00) PS: After ordering, they served a small complimentary side — simple pickled cabbage. I was a bit hungry, so it was perfect for a little starter. Honestly, the ambiance is quite nice — suitable for friend gatherings or hosting guests, with a refined and elegant feel. The price… 😑 steep (the dishes we ordered are in the last photo), but overall the experience was pleasant. #Seattle#Seattleguide#Seattlefood#Seattlelife#fooddiary
