Seattle Food - Anchovies & Salt
First, let’s give props where they’re due 🤣. This place is the epitome of Vietnamese cuisine in Seattle for me 🌟. Whether it’s the food or the drinks, you can order blindly and never hit a dud 💣. Mac Khen Beef Skewers 🍢 The beef skewers as an appetizer are highly recommended~The beef is tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned without being too salty or greasy, really whetting the appetite 😋. Pho Spiced Short Ribs 🥩 The star of the show ✨. The short ribs are a perfect blend of fat and meat, melting in the mouth. The sauce is sweet and just right, reminiscent of Chinese-style braised dishes. Paired with the aromatic fried rice, one bite is enough to satisfy the Asian palate to the fullest~Originally ordered as a hearty dish after a tiring day of exploring 🏸, but the taste was truly impressive 👍. Northern Sautéed Wagyu Pho 🍜 The restaurant’s signature wagyu pho. The quality of the beef speaks for itself 😌. Worth mentioning is that the noodles are wider and thicker, identical in texture to the ones I had in Hanoi 8 years ago, chewy and springy, which I personally love✅. Other dishes like Pork Ribs and Crab Roll also cater perfectly to Asian tastes~Pair them with a refreshing coconut water, and it’s perfect for cutting through the richness 🥥. But none of that is the point‼️ The view is absolutely stunning. The golden hues of the setting sun stream through the floor-to-ceiling windows into the restaurant, and the lake outside glistens under the sunset 🌇. Watching the sun set during dinner and the twilight fade after the meal is incredibly romantic🥹. The credit for the stunning photos goes to Ginnie 🙌. In the morning I watch the sky, at dusk I watch the clouds, in thought of you when I’m walking, in thought of you when I’m sitting💕. #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #SeattleFoodHunting #SeattleWeekend #SeattleVietnameseRestaurant #Seattle
