Seattle Food Review š±ļ½Delicious Japanese Yakiniku: Ishoni
This Japanese BBQ spot is truly one of my favoritesāthe grilled meats are fantastic, and even their side dishes shine, especially the ochazuke (tea-soaked rice). Highly recommended! š Ishoni Yakinikuļ¼611 Broadway E, Seattle (located in Capitol Hill). Street parking is cheap but hard to find; paid parking lots nearby are pricey. Reservations are recommended to secure a table. š® Beef Comboļ¼If you donāt have specific preferences, try the signature Beef Comboāperfect for two. It includes beef tongue, marbled beef slices, beef cubes, and side vegetables. š„Ŗ A5 Truffle Sandwichļ¼A must-order in my opinion! Japanese A5 Wagyu paired with truffle sauce, grilled to perfection by the staffāabsolutely delicious. š Mackerelļ¼Salt-grilled mackerel, cooked just right with rich, flavorful oils. š„ Ishoni Saladļ¼A refreshing seaweed salad with a hint of wasabiāgreat for cleansing the palate. š Mentaiko Ochazuke & Salmon Ochazukeļ¼Both the cod roe tea-soaked rice and salmon tea-soaked rice are delicious! š„© Beef Donburiļ¼Beef rice bowlāmild in flavor, but still enjoyable. We also ordered miso soup and takoyaki, which were decent but not standout. On previous visits with friends, weāve tried the creamy anchovy yam and cheesy sweet potatoš āboth were tasty too! š° Expect around $60 per person before tax. Portions tend to be small and prices are on the higher side, but the quality and flavors make it worth it! #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlefood#fooddiary#Seattleguuide#foodguide
