Seattle Japanese Garden—A Glimpse of Serenity in the Garden Series

Seattle Japanese Garden 1075 E Lake Washington Blvd, Seattle, WA Living in Seattle, I had already visited the Portland Japanese Garden twice! There is a difference, of course, but distance is a reality—whether it's 3 minutes, 30 minutes, or 3 hours. Attention to detail or missing out on something, the gap is undeniable. 😔 The Seattle Japanese Garden, like many others, has its own imperfections, but it often hits the right moments. This year, I caught the perfect timing when the wisteria was in full bloom. The tranquil pond, the elegant pavilion standing gracefully, the curtains gently swaying, and the flowers reflecting in the water all created a serene scene. 🌸 A mother and child dressed in purple happened to walk into the frame, making the picture so perfect that even a social introvert like me couldn't resist following them to share the photo via AirDrop with the beautiful mother. The baby, with big, bright eyes, handed me a handful of fish food, exclaiming, "See? Turtle!" It reminded me of Kanazawa's Kenrokuen Garden, which also has a lakeside tea pavilion covered in wisteria. I wonder what it looked like a month ago. 🌼 #JapaneseGarden #GardenPlants #GardeningLovers #PlantGuide #Wisteria #Azaleas #MapleTrees
