Seattle Noodle Review 🍜|A Hidden Gem for Handmade Udon
Visited Azuki, a Japanese handmade udon spot. The udon itself is outstanding—chewy, fresh, and full of texture. The setting, however, is quite simple and feels like a cozy, family-run diner with no-frills decor and basic cleanliness. 📍 Azuki: 2711 E Madison St, Seattle. Located in a residential area with plenty of street parking 🅿️. 🍜 Kamatama Curry: Pork roll curry udon—rich curry flavor, lean pork, and broccoli. Very satisfying. 🍜 Curry Beef: Beef curry udon—highly recommended! Generous slices of beef, hearty curry broth, and bean sprouts make it delicious. 🍱 Salmon Donburi: Grilled salmon rice bowl—after the bold curry, the salmon tasted a bit fishy and wasn’t our favorite. 🥘 The meal also came with complimentary chawanmushi (steamed egg), kimchi, and dessert, all quite nice. 💡 Tips: Small space; can get crowded during peak hours—try visiting off-peak Udon can be ordered hot or cold; noodles are thick and delightfully chewy Ideal for a quick, flavorful meal when you care more about taste than ambiance At around $35 per person, it’s an affordable and tasty family-run udon spot in Seattle—worth a trip just for that satisfying bowl of handmade noodles 🍥✨. #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlefood#foodguide#Seattleweekend#Seattlediary#Seattlenoodle
