Seattle Rainy Season
During Seattle's rainy season, there are occasional beautiful sunny days ☀️ sprinkled in between. Whenever a weekend rolls around, I always try to plan something fun to do. 🦀 Crabbing: 🌿To go crabbing, we first bought a crab license at Fred Meyer and ordered crab traps from Amazon. We chose the pier at Golden Gardens Park—this spot tends to have more Red Rock Crab and fewer Dungeness crabs. 💧It’s peak crab season now, so the crabs are nice and plump—the bigger, the tastier. Crabs that are just at the legal size aren’t as flavorful; it’s better when they’re at least an inch larger. ✔️The limit is 6 crabs per species for both Dungeness and Red Rock, and female Dungeness crabs are not allowed to be kept. 🍔 Recent Food Finds: 🩷Red Mill Burger: fried mushrooms and grilled chicken sandwich🩷Yan Tea: persimmon series drink🩷Kajiken: winter eel noodles🩷Phở: corn latte and black sesame latte🩷Shaoshan Chong: stinky mandarin fish🩷Jie Bakery: pork floss cakes🩷Gutian Fried Skewers: fried chicken cutlet, fried rice cakes, fried fish balls Sunny or rainy, there’s always something delicious or delightful to enjoy around Seattle 🌧️✨ #Seattle#Seattleguide#Seattlelife#Seattletravel#Seattlediary
