Seattle Restaurant Review – Itadaki

📍 A high-end Japanese barbecue spot in Bellevue 🍖. Prices aren’t exactly low, but the quality justifies it—definitely the kind of place you'd pick for a special meat-focused meal ✨. 🍣 Scallop & Ikura Hand Roll The scallop is thick, fresh, and sweet with no fishy taste—perfectly complemented by the ikura’s savory burst, which doesn’t overpower the delicate flavor. 🥪 Foie Gras Sandwich Toasted bread with rich, buttery foie gras—the fat level is just right. A recommended starter ⭐️. 👅 Wagyu Tongue Toro The MVP of the meal 🙌🏻. Thick-cut beef tongue, grilled over charcoal until the fat renders beautifully—crispy on the outside, tender inside. The seasoning is minimal, letting the meat shine 💯. 🥩 Japanese A5 Wagyu Sirloin Steak A5 Wagyu with gorgeous marbling—the fat melts almost instantly when grilled. So tender it barely needs chewing 😋. Rich but not greasy, delicious with just a dip of sauce or plain 🔥. The menu is extensive, though the uni and lobster hand roll had fantastic uni but slightly tough lobster—I’d prefer sweet shrimp instead. The Wagyu truffle rice isn’t recommended; the beef bits were too few for the price 💣. Service was outstanding—they grill, slice, and serve everything for you (great for those who aren’t grill pros 😄). The space is comfortable, and impressively, you hardly leave smelling like smoke—rare for a yakiniku spot! #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlefood#fooddiary#foodguide
