Seattle Restaurant Week | Autumn

Dishes with a Side of Sunset, No Alcohol Needed Checking off my second restaurant for Seattle Restaurant Week; overall experience was very satisfying. The $50 menu for SRW 2024 is quite a steal. The sunset was so beautiful, and I happily caught up on gossip with friends, feeling joyful even without ordering any alcohol. 🌅👭 The appetizer fries were nothing like typical fries; they were sweet (not cloyingly so), which was quite fun. The roasted turnip was refreshing and not too mushy. The rockfish ceviche was not authentic, but it was decent to me, though my friend found it too salty. 🍟🥕 The main course roasted pork was surprisingly delicious. It wasn’t dry or gamey. The thin layer of fat added a nice oily aroma without being greasy. The accompanying sauce was light and refreshing, pairing well with the quinoa side. The pasta dish was also good, nothing you couldn’t find elsewhere easily. 🐷🍝 The dessert fruit tart was too sweet. The apple sorbet, however, was delicious and highly recommended! 🍎🍨 #NorthAmericanLife #Seattle #SeattleFood #FoodDiary #SeattleLife #SeattleRestaurantWeek
