Seattle SLU Hidden Gem - Mexican Cuisine at El Grito Taqueria

There are quite a few Mexican restaurants near the Amazon buildings, and this place is always bustling whenever I pass by, especially on Friday nights. Overall, I’m super satisfied with my experience here; the flavors are amazing, the value is great, and the portions are generous! Friends in the SLU area should definitely give it a try. 💕+++ Chips with Salsa +++💕 The freshly fried corn chips served with two types of salsa are so addictive, you can’t stop eating them. 💕+++ Chicken Wings +++💕 The fried chicken wings are juicy and come with a sweet and spicy sauce and avocado crema. I absolutely love them. 💕+++ Tres Tacos Fried Cod +++💕The cod tacos are to die for. The thin corn tortillas are straight-up delicious, paired with a refreshing blend of toppings. Who wouldn’t love that? 💕+++ Carne Asada +++ 💕For the main course, I had the steak, which was cooked to perfection – not tough at all, very tender, and the marinated flavor was excellent. It came with a Jamaica sauce, which was a unique first for me, but it was really great. 💕+++ Drinks +++💕 The cocktails are very substantial, with a strong alcohol content, which means they’re not skimping on the base liquor. Those who can’t handle their alcohol should definitely sip slowly. The restaurant is quite spacious, perfect for group meals, and the service is fast. Overall, I’m very pleased and will definitely come back. There’s plenty of street parking, or you can park for free in the nearby Amazon parking lot after 4 pm on weekdays and weekends. #Seattle #SeattleFood #SeattleLife #SeattleFoodExploration #SeattleDaily #SeattleSLU #SeattleMexicanCuisine #SeattleSLUFood #SeattleGroupDining #SeattleAmazon
