Smoked Octopus Leg 🐙 so good it’ll make you dance! Cinque Terre Ristorante Translated, it means “Five Fisherman’s Village Restaurant” I’ve heard of this Italian seafood restaurant for a while Supposedly one of the best value restaurants for Seattle happy hour It’s a bit far from where I live in the East, but I finally got a chance to check it out while watching the musical Les Misérables Had a very comfortable meal, and there’s even a free parking lot 😊 Dish Recommendations: Oyster - $4.5 each They specialize in cuisine from the Italian Riviera, but it’s all local seafood, very fresh The oysters are from Taylor Shellfish, the largest oyster farm in Seattle They’re cleaner than many places, and they even pair the oysters with a unique coconut crumb foam During happy hour, they’re only $2 each, which is an even better deal 🤑 Polpo Mario - $33 Without exaggeration, this is the most amazing smoked octopus leg I’ve had in Seattle so far If it were just tender meat, it wouldn’t be special But the smoky flavor on the surface fills the dish with a woody aroma The juice that drips down and the buttery mashed potatoes are surprisingly compatible So delicious! 😋 Zuppa di pesce - $39 The famous seafood soup from the Five Fisherman’s Village Contains lobster, shellfish, octopus, shrimp, finfish, and squid, a rich and delicious stew There’s also a piece of bread soaked in the soup at the bottom, full of seafood flavor You can also continue to dip the free bread in the seafood soup 🍲 Pasta - around $30 Another specialty of theirs is homemade pasta and handcrafted pizza Since pizza is quite filling, we chose a pasta from the day’s special menu It’s not on the regular menu, so I don’t remember the name The sausage on top is a bit salty and heavily spiced But the large, flat noodles at the bottom have an excellent texture They’re chewy and springy, with a bite but not too hard #TonightDinnerLooksLikeThis #Seattle #SeattleSurroundings #SeattleFoodExploration #SeattleLife #SeattleFoodie #SeattleWeekend #SeattleDaily
