Second Visit to Nam Chon Korean Restaurant in Philly 🍚

Loved it so much last week that I came back this weekend! In short: still excellent—my favorite Korean spot in Philly. Let’s start with the banchan (side dishes) 🥢: The candied potatoes are absolutely addictive! Spicy cucumber is refreshing and appetizing. Stir-fried fish cake is well-seasoned. Kimchi is mildly spicy, just right for my taste. The owner is super nice—even gave us extra potatoes because we loved them so much! 😊 🍛 Bulgogi Bibimbap – Loved the crispy rice crust (nurungji)—flavorful and satisfying. As someone who rarely gets good rice at school, this hit the spot 😭. 🧀 Cheese Tteokbokki – Classic sweet-spicy rice cakes, very filling. 🥣 Soft Tofu Stew (Soondubu) – We went with mild spice—warm and comforting. 🥞 Kimchi Pancake – Crispy, tangy, delicious 📍 Easy to find—check the entrance Everything we ordered was different from last time, and still no disappointments! Noticed it’s busier now than last visit—probably gaining well-deserved popularity. Highly recommend! 🏆 The Old City area around the restaurant is also lovely—quaint shops and photogenic historic streets. Just wish the weather was a bit warmer ~ ❄️☀️ #PhillyFood #KoreanFood #NamChon #BibimbapLove #BanchanHeaven #ComfortFood
