Seoul Tofu House in Tacoma โ A Must-Try Korean Spot! ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ท
We visited Seoul Tofu House, located right across from the Tacoma Hmart, and it did not disappoint! The decor is simple and traditional, and the fact that most customers were Korean speaks volumes about its authenticity ๐โจ. Hereโs what we tried: ๐ Soondubu + BBQ Galbi Combo - $32.99 The highlight of the meal! The seafood soft tofu soup was perfectly spicy and savory ๐ฒ๐ฅ. The LA galbi was tender, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone good. The stone-pot steamed rice was also a standout โ each grain was soft yet firm, making every bite satisfying. The fried fish was decent, though not as memorable. ๐ฆ Seafood Pancake (Haemul Pajeon) - $19.99 Crispy on the outside, loaded with fresh seafood on the inside ๐ฅ๐. It can get a bit heavy after a few pieces, but the first few bites are absolutely heavenly! ๐ Original Fried Chicken - $29.99 Super crispy outside, juicy and well-seasoned inside ๐๐. The Korean auntie recommended eating it with the pickled radish from the banchan โ and it was a game-changer! A bit pricey, but worth it. ๐ฅ The banchan (side dishes) were diverse, fresh, and delicious โ each one felt homemade and full of care ๐ฅขโค๏ธ. The staff โ especially the kind Korean ladies โ made the experience warm and welcoming ๐ง๐. Yes, itโs a bit on the pricier side, but in a sea of average Korean restaurants, Seoul Tofu House stands out as authentic, flavorful, and truly worth trying! ๐ Seoul Tofu House (Across from Hmart Tacoma) ๐ Perfect for: comfort food, family meals, authentic Korean flavors #KoreanFood #TacomaEats #SeattleFoodie #AuthenticKorean #FoodReview #HiddenGems #BestTofuSoup #BanchanLove
