Sequoia / Kings Canyon National Park Hidden Gems
💕Finally checked off these two national parks that aren’t too far from Southern California. It was cold during Thanksgiving, but there was no snow, so we didn’t get to use the snow chains and ice cleats we brought. 💕Here are some less known but photo-worthy spots I’ve summarized: Congress Trail The trailhead is near the General Sherman Tree, with an easy difficulty level as it’s paved. Along the way, there are many large trees, such as the House, the Senate, and President Tree, which are all great for photos! The entire trail takes about 1.5 hours round trip, so make sure to plan your time accordingly~ 💕Beetle Rock Too lazy to climb Moro Rock? This can be a good alternative! It’s perfect for watching the sunset! There’s no sea of clouds, but it’s right by the road near the museum, with almost no climbing required! 💕Kings Canyon Overlook Kings Canyon is closed off in winter, so we just took a look at the viewpoint. You can see the distant snow-capped mountains, looking forward to visiting again in summer. 💕We also stopped at a random spot on the side of the road, somewhere between Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Feel free to stop and rest when you see a beautiful view. #EarthOnLine #SequoiaNationalPark #KingsCanyonNationalPark #USNationalParks #CaliforniaTravel #SharingMyDailyLife
