Sharjah is beautiful, but one day is enough ✨
Compared to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Sharjah is indeed a more niche destination 🏙️. You won’t see many skyscrapers here—instead, the streets are filled with a more authentic Middle Eastern vibe 🧡. Prayer rooms are everywhere, and the call to prayer echoes beautifully across the city several times a day. I stood in a square surrounded by prayer rooms at sunset, listening to the overlapping voices from each direction… It was deeply moving 🎶🌅. Sorry, I can’t find a better word to describe that audiovisual experience. The city isn’t heavily populated, and there didn’t seem to be many tourists—maybe because it was a weekday? Everything felt unusually quiet and peaceful 🤫. Here’s a list of places you can visit, all within walking distance around the Heart of Sharjah ❤️: 1️⃣ The Chedi Al Bait 🏨 A beautiful hotel—worth visiting even if you’re not staying there. Great ambiance and food ☕️, but management is… not the best 😅. Still waiting for a useful response from them. 2️⃣ Rain Room 💧|Recommended: 30 mins 🎫 A rain installation—if you walk slowly, you won’t get wet! You may need to wait outside until a group is formed to enter. 3️⃣ Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization 🕌|Recommended: 1 hr 🎫 4️⃣ Sharjah Art Museum 🎨|Recommended: 1 hr 🆓 5️⃣ Sharjah Heritage Museum 🏛️|Recommended: 30 mins 🎫 #SharjahTravel #DubaiTrips #UAETravel 🌍
