Shirahama | Strolling by the Sea is the Real Deal 🌊

I want to talk more seriously about Shirahama once again. Our one-day route was: Senjōjiki ➡️ Sandanbeki ➡️ Shirahama Beach ➡️ Engetsu Island. 🌊 We stayed at SEAMORE, which is within walking distance of both Senjōjiki and Sandanbeki. The weather after the typhoon was just perfect. 🌟Although the temperature in early November was a bit chilly, the sunlight was warm and inviting, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll. Along the way, we also saw many people cycling, which seemed like a great option too. 🚴‍♀️ 🌊 The landscape of Senjōjiki is somewhat similar to the columnar jointing in Jeju Island, but here you can actually go down to the reef and get up close to the waves. 🌊 The observation deck at Sandanbeki offers a 180-degree unobstructed view of the magnificent Pacific Ocean. 🌟 It's also one of the "100 Selected Sunrises and Sunsets in Wakayama Prefecture." For 1500 yen, you can take an elevator down to the cliffside cave, where you can see another side of the intersection between the sea and the land. 🌊 The seemingly calm waves surge into the caves in the cliff, creating layers of splashes and echoing roars inside. Unfortunately, the waves were not strong enough on the day we visited, but I was truly impressed by the videos I saw from other travelers. #Japan 🌟 #Nagasaki
