Shish Kebab Restaurant Review
The service and ambiance at this restaurant are both great. Shish Kebab: I ordered the beef and lamb kebabs. The charcoal-grilled flavor is quite aromatic, although the meat is a bit tough. The sauce has a sour and spicy taste, similar to the sauce on baked baozi. The combination of onions and fennel, however, has an odd fishy taste. Plov Samarkand (Hand-Pulled Rice): The stewed beef and lamb are tender, paired with carrots, raisins, and chickpeas. The rice is chewy and well-defined in each grain. Qovurma Lagmon (Uzbek-Style Noodles): The beef stir-fried noodles come with green peppers, bell peppers, and onions, with a sour and spicy flavor. It's similar to Xinjiang-style noodles but with added fennel. The meat is a bit dry. ππ»ββοΈ Service: The waitstaff is attentive and responsive, at a normal level. π½οΈ Ambiance: The space is relatively spacious, with an overall darker color scheme indoors. π Location: The restaurant is located on the side of a shopping plaza with plenty of parking spaces. π Address: Samarkand Steakhouse 1135 Bustleton Pike #2, Feasterville, PA 19053 #NorthAmericanLife #PhillyFood #Foodie #RestaurantReview
