Shoutout to the Amazing Food I’ve Eaten in LA! 🍜

LA has so much good food—here are my top picks from this trip! 🍣 KANPAI JAPANESE SUSHI BAR & GRILL 📍 8736 S Sepulveda Blvd Ste C, Los Angeles, CA 90045 Super close to the airport, fresh ingredients, great value. Huge free parking lot. Their seafood donburi is only $30—perfect if you’re flying in or out! 🍜 China Bistro 📍 8310 Valley Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770 Portions are massive—couldn’t finish! Two dishes for $35. The dry-fried beef ho fun and braised beef noodles taste just like Guangdong—nostalgic and delicious 🥲 🌶️ Sichuan Spicy Bay 📍 1265 E Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91801 A local friend’s longtime favorite. The Mao Kao Ya (duck hot pot) is legit Sichuan—spicy, rich, huge portion. Small space, so expect waits during peak hours. 🍖 Sun Nong Dan Multiple locations. An LA classic—even went late at night and almost had to wait. Worth the hype! If you could only eat one thing in LA, this might be it—no real substitute. 🍲 Tang Huo Kung Fu Spicy Hot Pot 📍 3450 W 6th St Ste 108 & 110, Los Angeles, CA 90020 Took it back to the hotel late at night—even better than mala tang I’ve had in China, no joke. Around $50 for two people. 🥣 Acai Bowl A must-try Brazilian berry smoothie bowl topped with fruits, granola, and more. Haven’t seen this much in China—so refreshing! Just Google “acai bowl near me” and pick a highly rated spot. #LifeInTheUS #InternationalStudent #LosAngeles #LAEats#SichuanFood #JapaneseFood #UniLover #GlobalEats
