Moraine Lake—arguably the most beautiful lake in Banff, no contest!!!!! ❓As many know, after Moraine Lake opened on June 1st this year, private cars 🚗 are prohibited. Access is only via shuttle bus, cycling, or walking. ❓How to secure tickets 🎫 🌟On Parks Canada, select "Shuttle," "Day Pass," "Lake Louise and Moraine Lake." Regular tickets are already sold out; only Last Minute tickets are available. ⚠️Note: Last Minute tickets can only be booked 2 days before your visit at 8 AM MST. It’s not too tricky—I snagged tickets smoothly at 8 AM the day before. Chose the 10/11 AM Park & Ride slot for optimal lighting. 🌟Shuttle bus pickup is at Lake Louise Ski Resort 🎿. After arriving, park in the designated lot per staff instructions. Walk to the boarding area—look for the wooden cabin in the distance. Have your e-ticket screenshot ready to exchange for a physical card at the cabin. The card lists your group size and surname. Then head to the green flag marked "Moraine Lake" or "Lake Louise." 🌟First stop: Moraine Lake. The bus ride takes ~30 minutes. The lake’s iconic blue hue didn’t disappoint! Circled the lake and hiked up for panoramic shots, finishing around 2:30 PM. 🌟Next, transferred to the Lake Louise shuttle. Quick ride—arrived in no time. Today’s goal: hike to the Tea House. Started around 3 PM, finished at 6:45 PM near the Fairmont hotel 🏨. 🌟The last shuttle back to Park & Ride departs at 7:30 PM, so we didn’t hike further. Overall, the shuttle is convenient. If skipping Moraine Lake, drive directly to Lake Louise (parking: $21 CAD/day). Add-on: Tickets cost $19 CAD for two of us. Some bought tickets onsite—prices shown in the photo. #CanadianLife #Canada #Calgary #BanffNationalPark #Nature #MoraineLake #LakeLouise #Banff #ShuttleBus
