Skagit Tulips ๐ท | Washington and the flowers shine on a sunny day
In the afternoon, seeing the nice weather, I happened to browse a post about "tulips" in Seattle, and decided with a friend to go to Skagit Valley to enjoy the flowers. ๐ The garden is called Roozengaarde, which seems to be a popular choice. It's about an hour and a half from near UW. We arrived around 3 p.m. on Saturday and there was some traffic, but we quickly got through the congested area๐ฃ๏ธ ๐ท This garden is indeed large. The area just inside the entrance has the most vibrant colors. The tulips have a silk-like texture, with various colored flowers intertwined, creating a visual feast that shines in the rare Washington sunshine ๐ Further in, there are large flower fields, but the colors are more uniform. For photography, you can capture the vast flower fields with the abstract color blocks formed by the different lines, echoing the distant mountains and trees; you can also take flat shots, high-angle shots of a cluster of the same color tulips ๐ธ with the sky and nearby landscapes as the background; or select a part of the petals as the foreground to blur, pairing them with other colored flowers in the background for more fun. Another small tip: Shooting backlit petals will give you tulips that shine! #SeattleTulipFestival #SeattleTulipSea #TulipFarm #Tulip
