📍SLC | A Hidden Gem You’ll Love the Moment You Open Your Eyes 🏙️
On the road trip from Las Vegas to Yellowstone, Salt Lake City is a must-pass stop. I thought it was just a quick rest spot, but the moment I stepped out in the morning—I fell in love!! 💖 Stayed at the newly opened Hyatt in downtown—super modern facilities 🏨. Just a 5-minute walk downstairs to what’s known as the city’s most popular café and brunch spot 🤟🏻. Perfect for starting the day with good food and drinks! ☕ Three Pines Coffee The best coffee on this entire trip! They use beans from Heart Roasters—order anything, it’s all delicious! If finance workers are lining up for it, you know it’s good 👌🏻. 🥖 Eva’s Bakery Brunch costs around十几刀 for a huge plate—great value! Each dish comes with thin, soft, fragrant roasted potato slices and salad 🥗. The Benedict and avocado toast are served on house-made bread 🥑🍞. The former uses baguette instead of the usual muffin, and the latter is multigrain sourdough with two kinds of pickled beets—crisp and subtly sweet. Before leaving, I grabbed a kouign-amann and a croissant 🥐—pastry is their specialty. Loaded with butter and incredibly aromatic! Sitting at the outdoor seating, feeling the cool, comfortable early autumn breeze 🍂, watching the streetcar zoom by… The streets are clean with barely any trash or unhoused people—so tidy it hardly feels like the U.S. 🥺. Compared to Vegas’ noisy, dirty, and flashy vibe, this kind of morning is truly refreshing for both body and mind! Suddenly, I felt like I was truly living in another city—not just rushing through tourist spots as a travel machine. I think this is what travel is really about. 🌍✨ #USTravel #HolidayDestination #SaltLakeCity #SLCFood #FoodDiary
