Smith & Wollensky - My Top Choice for Western Restaurants 🌟

I’ve tried quite a few steak houses in Boston, but this place deserves a special mention! Smith & Wollensky, a chain that Warren Buffett himself frequents, is famous for its Tomahawk steak. I didn’t order it this time because it’s quite large; I doubt two girls could finish it. But honestly, every dish we had tonight was stunning! It’s officially my top 1! The taste, environment, and service were all šŸ‘šŸ» ✨ The bread before the meal deserves a shoutout! It was brought to our table as soon as we sat down šŸ˜‚ The freshly baked bread with butter 🧈 and a sprinkle of sea salt was incredibly aromatic. ✨ Half a dozen oysters 🦪 were super fresh and large. Topped with a bit of hot sauce and garlic, they were so smooth going down! ✨ The Scallops were perfectly seared, not too greasy. Personally, I found them even tenderer than the famous scallop cream rice at Ocean Prime. The only downside was the cinnamon-flavored curry potato it was paired with; I’m not a fan of cinnamon, so I didn’t finish it~ ✨ Beef tartare on beef bone marrow was incredible! This is the best raw beef I’ve ever had in the U.S.! Unlike other places where it can be fishy, this one was perfect! It was almost like eating sashimi! The bone marrow was a bit rich, but spread on that freshly toasted bread… every bite was satisfying 😭 ✨ The Filet Oscar was the highlight! We ordered our filet mignon medium rare. They cut it for you tableside, which is quite the experience! The beef was super tender with no blood. Topped with crab meat and asparagus, and that sauce… I can’t say enough how much I love it! One bite, and it was crowned my top 1! ✨ The Truffle French Fries were generously portioned and smelled divine. The fries were super crispy; my friend and I devoured them all (mostly me, haha). ✨ The 10-layer Chocolate Cake (I forgot the exact name, it’s the first one on the menu) was enormous! I was debating whether to order two cakes, but I’m glad I didn’t! You can’t imagine how big it is until you see it in person šŸ˜‚ It’s a bit like the Chocolate Tower at Cheesecake Factory. We could only manage a slice between the two of us, and the rich chocolate flavor was filling. I doubt even four people could finish it, but it was delicious! The total came to $240, not including tip. Aside from the$88 steak, the prices for the other dishes were really reasonable. Most importantly, everything was delicious! #WesternCuisine #RestaurantExploration
