Smooth Entry Guide: Flying from Beijing to LA 🛬✨
Just landed in Los Angeles after a direct flight from Beijing! Though there were a few minor bumps, everything went smoothly in the end. Sharing some tips to help you breeze through immigration! 💡 📄 Documents to Prepare ✅ Passport ✅ Hotel reservation confirmation ✅ Return flight ticket ✅ Travel itinerary (see attachment for reference) ✅ Valid EVUS form 🛃 Customs Q&A 1️⃣ "What’s the purpose of your visit?" 🙋♀️ "Tourism." 2️⃣ "How long will you stay?" 🙋♀️ "4 days and 3 nights." 3️⃣ "Only 4 days? Why so short?" 🙋♀️ "I’ve used up my paid leave." (This was a close one! 😅) 4️⃣ "Which places will you visit?" 🙋♀️ List the cities in your itinerary. (Having the itinerary handy helps!) 5️⃣ "Are you bringing cigarettes or other goods?" 🙋♀️ "One carton of cigarettes." (Note: Be cautious with this answer—it raised eyebrows since my trip was short.) 🎉 Final result: Welcome to the United States! ⏱️ Timing & Tips We landed at 7 AM. Lines moved slowly until officers started their shifts. Join the shortest queue and observe the officers' styles. Move forward only when waved over. Traveling as a group? Approach the officer together. Stay calm, confident, and polite! 👀 I saw two travelers ahead of me taken for secondary screening, so my officer was quite strict—but most people pass through quickly. #TravelTips #SmoothEntry #LosAngeles #USImmigration #CustomsGuide #TravelHacks #USA #BorderControl #StayCalm #TravelPrep
