Snoqualmie Falls Half-Day Stroll_ Around Seattle
Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the town with some eating and drinking, and take a peek at the majestic Snoqualmie Falls. It’s about a 40-minute drive from Bellevue, making it a quite accessible attraction. The park is small; if you’re just seeing the falls, the whole trip takes about 10 minutes. There’s also a small dirt path for hiking that requires a descent, with many uniquely shaped trees along the way perfect for photos 📸. The round trip takes about 30 minutes. 🅿️ If you park right at the attraction, it’s $7 for 2 hours. But if you park across the street at the opposite parking lot and walk across a skybridge, it’s 🆓 parking! 🍴 The town is very, very small, but we found two restaurants that looked promising. We chose the Italian restaurant and avoided any duds ✌️. We played it safe with a classic salad and meatball spaghetti, both of which were tasty 👍. The fish and chips special of the day were also delicious. The only downside was the signature burger 🍔, which might have been too plain, lacking in flavor, and thus just okay in taste – though it was pretty suitable for kids. 🍦 There’s only one ice cream shop in town, and it’s bustling with people coming for dessert after dinner 😃. We tried three flavors, all of which were good, not losing to the big-name stores 😋. 🚞 If you buy train tickets in advance online, you can take the train to see the falls. The past two weeks were Thomas the Tank Engine event days, but tickets sold out early – so we had to settle for regular train tickets. The second stop is in town, with a few train engines to pose with for photos, and the kids can also browse the Thomas memorabilia shop. The theme is eating and drinking, with the waterfall viewing as an added bonus. The whole trip takes about 3-4 hours, which is plenty 😁. #AroundSeattle #SeattleWeekendActivities #SeattleAreaFamilyOutings #Waterfall #SnoqualmieFalls #Waterfall #TopOfSnoqualmie
