Snow Peak Cabin in Seattle
📅 🩷Day 1 We bought ingredients for three days before setting off, then drove three hours from Seattle to Long Beach. By 9 PM, it was completely dark. After checking in, we crossed the bridge to have dinner in Astoria, on the other side of the bay. The American-style pasta wasn’t particularly special, but it marked the start of the journey. 🩷Day 2 Seattle’s rainy season arrived on schedule, with 40 km/h winds — a unique barbecue experience, to say the least. In the afternoon, we changed into swimsuits and headed to the Ofuro hot spring and sauna, washing away the workday fatigue. The evening wrapped up with a chef’s charcoal-grilled steak, ending our Thanksgiving night. 🩷Day 3 We checked out at 11 AM. Sunshine appeared like a surprise gift, so we decided to visit the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. The trip stretched on longer than planned, but it was absolutely worth it. ⛺️ Tips ✨The campsite is well-equipped with a café, a shop, shower facilities, an Ofuro hot spring & sauna — bring your swimsuit if you plan to soak! ✨We stayed in the Jyubako Cabin, which is pet-friendly and comes with a private bathroom, kitchen, utensils, and a hairdryer. Each cabin also has a grill right outside the door. ✨You can also rent cooking gear at the campsite. The shop sells Campfield-exclusive cups and clothing. The entire campground has Wi-Fi, and the signal is pretty good — solid enough for streaming shows or getting some work done. #Seattle#travelguide#Seattlelife#Seattlediary#SnowPeak#Seattleguide
