Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are beautifully designed, featuring an elegant oval-shaped bar, soft lighting, floral wallpaper, and chic lemon-themed accents. πβ¨ Itβs the perfect setting for a birthday, special occasion, or romantic date night. (5/5 π) The service was excellent from the moment we walked in β the hostess and our server were attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. (5/5 π) In my opinion, though, the food wasnβt particularly memorable. I ordered the Fresh Clam Pasta and was surprised to find only about 6 small clams removed from their shells. I expected a rich white wine and butter sauce with plenty of chopped clams, but it fell a bit short. My spouse had the Fresh Macaroni with tomato sauce and a scoop of soft cheese. The pasta portions felt more like a side dish or part of a multi-course meal β not quite a main. (3/5 π) On the bright side, the appetizers were a hit! The Prosciutto with Grilled Pineapple was delicious and beautifully plated. The Fresh Gem Salad was generous and easily shareable. (5/5 π) The pricing is definitely on the higher side β youβre largely paying for the beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and prime La Jolla location rather than the ingredient quality or portion size.
