So Good It Takes You to Another Level šŸ£Orange County, LA

A Japanese restaurant near Irvine that truly stands out for its ingredients and flavors—it reminds me of my go-to spot back in Beijing! There’s so much to choose from: red king crab, Hokkaido uni, sweet shrimp, fresh oysters, and tender squid—all incredibly fresh and delicious, with clean, authentic flavors. The owner and team are Japanese, so it doesn’t feel like Americanized sushi at all. The service is thoughtful, and the recommended sake was spot on 😌 We originally planned to go to Kuramoto, but it was full—so we tried Kā€˜s Bistro, which was also on my list. ✨ In my opinion, it’s better than nearby O Fine in ingredient quality, offers a nicer experience than Hana Re, and feels more authentically Japanese than Izakaya Osen. Have you been to Kā€˜s Bistro? What’s your favorite authentic Japanese spot in Orange County?
