Soban in LA's Koreatown – A Must-Try Korean Restaurant! 🦀️🍖
As a huge fan of Korean food, whenever I'm in Los Angeles, I only eat Korean and Vietnamese cuisine. 😋🇰🇷 If you're tired of the usual spots like SongNongDan, why not try this Michelin-recognized mom-and-pop kitchen? 🏆👩🍳 The flavor here is very authentic—like something you’d taste in Korea—but the meat quality is definitely a step up! 🥩✨ This is where the Parasite cast celebrated after the Oscars—need I say more? 🎬🏆 Must-order: Galbi Jjim (braised short rib with rice cakes) – absolutely delicious and perfectly executed! 🍖🍚 The soy marinated crab (ganjang-gejang) is just okay—not quite as good as in Korea. 🦀😐 Other soups and rice dishes are solid—ingredients are high quality, and the taste is true to Korean home-style cooking. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but worth it for the quality. 💸👍 The owner, an kind ajumma, was super sweet—maybe because I spoke Korean 😄—super friendly, took photos for us herself! No bad service vibes at all. 📸💕 This is the kind of place I’d only bring my closest family members to. ❤️👨👩👧👦 #LosAngeles #LA #KtownEats #Koreatown #KoreanFood #MichelinEats #LAEats #ParasiteRestaurant #ComfortFood #HiddenGem
