Soberanía National Park Adventure - A Wild But Tricky Trek! 🌿🐒

🚗 Our Experience Got totally lost trying to find the entrance—ended up near Monkey Island! 🏝️ (Pro tip: Look for a tiny A4 monkey sign, not a big billboard!) Park borders a military base (saw armed guards 👮♂️, but they spoke English). Trail was rocky/muddy—mostly mountain bikers 🚵, few hikers. Disappointing scenery: Just a small river + dense forest. Walked 3.5km before turning back (thought it was 7km round trip... Nope! Single direction!). Zero animals due to rain ☔—bring patience! ⚠️ Survival Tips NO signal in the rainforest 📵 (only kilometer markers). Essentials to pack: 🥾 Hiking shoes (rocks + mud!) 🧴 Bug spray & snake precautions 🐍 💧 LOTS of water + snacks ☂️ Rain gear + flashlight (no lights!) 🔦 Optional: Self-defense tool (just in case) 📍 Location: 38FR+P38, Las Cumbres 👎 Not recommended for casual hikers—only for determined adventurers!
