Solo Trip in Seattle: A Decade-Later Journey to Find Myself Again ✈️❤️
Exactly ten years since my last solo adventure in Nepal, I'm back on the road alone—this time in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Some things never change: that thrill of independence, the quiet moments of self-discovery, and the joy of moving at my own pace. 📌 UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON – Suzzalo & Allen Library Stepping into this reading room felt like entering a cathedral of knowledge. 🏛️📚 The Gothic arches, stained glass, and that hushed, focused atmosphere—I could have spent all day here, surrounded by students and stories. 📌 BAINBRIDGE ISLAND & BLOEDEL RESERVE A short ferry ride across the water, and suddenly—peace. 🚢🌲 The Bloedel Reserve was a highlight: Japanese gardens, quiet forests, and reflective ponds. Walking here felt like meditation. 📌 PUBLIC MARKET The heartbeats of Seattle! 🐟💐 From flying fish at Pike Place to buskers singing their hearts out, this place is as alive as it gets. Took my time tasting local honey, smelling fresh flowers, and watching people go by. 📌 ELLIOTT BAY BOOK COMPANY A book lover’s dream. 📖✨ Warm lighting, wooden shelves, ladders that slide—and that comforting smell of paper and ink. I left with two new novels and a full heart. Ten years later, I’m still traveling to see the world, and through it—see myself. Some feelings never fade. ❤️ #SoloTrip #SeattleTravel #TravelAlone #Wanderlust #SeattleDiaries
