While sitting in the crowd waiting for the sunrise, the thought that popped into my head was: "See the world, see all beings, see myself." I loved this morning so much—I saw the sunrise 🌅, witnessed a proposal 💍, and even ran into a friend by chance! 📍 Fred W. Free parking is available at the entrance. If the lot is full, you’ll need to park on the side of the road and walk up. A few days before your trip, search for the chapel’s opening hours on Google. It usually opens at 6 AM, but hours may change or it may be closed if there are private events. It gets a bit cold on the mountain before sunrise—bring a small blanket! The holiday crowds are huge, and you’ll need to wait in line to take photos facing the cross.
