Greenville, SC | Lobster Roll is a Must-Try When You’re in Greenville

Greenville, South Carolina, is said to be one of the most livable cities in the US. This time, I stayed near Main Street—and I’m here to declare: Greenville is the perfect city for a City Walk! 🚶 The Jones Oyster Co. A popular local bistro/bar, famous for its oysters and lobster sandwiches. When I arrived, there was a long line outside, but since I was alone, I lucked out with a solo spot at the bar—yay! 🥳 I ordered the Connecticut lobster roll + fries + coleslaw, and it was absolutely amazing. The bread was crispy on the outside, infused with buttery aroma, and the inside was stuffed with massive chunks of lobster meat (no tiny shreds here!)—super tender and chewy. The fries were my favorite type: crispy all the way through, and the coleslaw was the perfect refreshing pairing. I also tried two types of oysters—they’re fresh daily, so the selection varies, so be sure to ask the staff for recommendations! 🦪 The oysters come with three dipping sauces: two have wasabi, and one is tangy (I even used that one for my fries!). Btw, the complimentary appetizer snack was great too—the hummus was perfectly seasoned! 📍 22 E Court St, Greenville, SC 29601 After eating, you can walk along Main Street toward Reedy River Falls—this stretch is full of cute shops, perfect for browsing: River Street SweetsThey sell all kinds of chocolates, candies, pastries, and ice cream. Their most famous item is pralines (caramel cookies with nuts)—they’re fragrant but very sweet. Worth a quick stop if you’re passing by! 🍬 There’s also a cozy coffee & art shop on Main Street. It sells various paintings and artworks—super unique—and their coffee has great reviews on their website ☕️📍 14 S Main St, Greenville, SC 29601 The Famous Reedy River FallsThere’s a small park here with stunning views. The vibe is so relaxing and chill—everyone’s strolling at a slow pace, and the energy here feels so calming! The waterfall is tiny, and you can walk around it in less than 10 minutes, but it’s definitely worth a visit. 🌊📍 37 Furman College Way, Greenville, SC 29601 #GoodMoodFromWandering #WeekendWanderlust #Food #TheJoyOfWandering #WaterfallInMyGallery #GlobalFoodieSquad #LifeInNorthAmerica #SouthCarolina #Greenville
