Greenville - Charleston The weather wasn’t great during my two days in Greenville, but this small city felt like a quiet, harmonious fairy tale at dusk in the rain 🌧️. 1. Pretty Place Chapel (Sims Chapel) We woke up at 3 AM to drive the mountain roads in the dark—all to visit this spot “closest to heaven”! The YMCA gate opens promptly at 6 AM (pro tip: don’t arrive too early—we got there at 5 AM and had to sleep in the car for an hour 😂).IMPORTANT: Definitely pick a sunny day to come! Unfortunately, we couldn’t avoid the rain, but we did accidentally unlock a stunning “blue hour” (the magical time right before sunrise/sunset) view—silver linings! 2. BMW Factory Tour You need to book this in advance, and it’s near GSP Airport. Each small group (around 30 people) splits into two teams for the tour. It was so spectacular!!! The tour guide lady was super patient, and you could tell she’s truly passionate about BMW 🚗. 3. Charleston This is where the first shot of the American Civil War was fired 🔫.
