Came across a post asking everyone to recommend one restaurant in Philly, and found this spot! Located in the same plaza as Heng Fa in South Philly — turns out that plaza is packed with so many Southeast Asian eateries, all super local and authentic! 📍 Address: 1122 Washington Ave B, Philadelphia, PA 19147 Ordered two starters, two mains, and a drink — mostly followed the server's recommendations. And we even got a box of little pastries with the bill! 🥮✨ 🐮 Beef Tongue Satay Sooo tender — absolutely delicious! 🤤 🐟 Batagor Crispy fried fish cake with a soft-boiled egg yolk inside! Dipped in a sweet-and-sour sauce — really unique and tasty. 🍜 Noodle - N1 (Server’s Pick) Solid choice! Next time I want to try the Laksa soup noodles — probably N11. 🍚 Rice - R16 (Pork Rice Platter) Flavorful and satisfying — no complaints here! 🥤 Durian Juice Basically durian smoothie 🧊💛 Durian lovers will definitely enjoy this haha! 🍍 Free Pineapple Pastry with the Bill So good!! The outer layer is like an egg yolk pastry, and the filling has real shredded pineapple inside. Will definitely be back!
