📍South Seattle | Korean Braised Pork Hocks & Steaming Soup

When the Seattle rain just won't quit, you need some serious comfort food! 🍲 Made the trip to my all-time favorite Korean spot in South Seattle - the ultimate destination for warm soups and soul-satisfying dishes! 💫 Originally craved bossam 🥬 but was told they haven't been serving it recently 😭 Ended up with Jokbal (Braised Pork Hocks) instead - and wow, the portion was MASSIVE! 🤯 The pork had just the right amount of seasoning - not too salty, perfectly balanced! Wrapped in fresh veggies with kimchi, it was pure bliss... though definitely required some serious chewing workout! 🏋️‍♀️ My jaw muscles got their daily exercise for sure! Was about to order Soondae Guk (blood sausage soup) too, but the lovely auntie running the place gently stopped me - "Too much food for one person!" 😅 She was absolutely right! Ended up with their Ox Blood Soup 🩸 which was everything I needed - rich, warming, comforting... and packed with SO much ox blood! Like, seriously generous amounts! 💯 🍴 Yangpyung Seoul 💸 Price: $$ (Reasonable for the massive portions!) 🅿️ Parking: Plaza parking available 👵 Service: The sweetest Korean auntie ever! She genuinely cares about your dining experience ❤️ 💡 Pro Tip: Come hungry, share with friends, and listen when auntie says you've ordered enough! 🙏 #SeattleEats #SeattleFood #KoreanFood #ComfortFood #RainyDayEats #PorkHocks #BloodSoup #SeattleRestaurants #FoodieReview #SeattleKoreanFood #ComfortInABowl
