Southern Texas – El Paso Food 🍽️🌵

Southern Texas – El Paso Food 🍽️🌵 Having lived in El Paso for over a year, we thought this border city wouldn’t have much good food—but many restaurants surprised us with how delicious they are! Here are our top 3 recommendations 👍: 1️⃣ Carnitas Queretaro – Mexican 🇲🇽 There are many Mexican restaurants in El Paso, but this one is our favorite! Get the fajita plus a dessert, and the key is their amazing salsa—be sure to ask for the Green salsa 🌶️, my personal favorite, a refreshing kind of spicy~They have two locations, one on the east side and one on the west side. 2️⃣ West Texas Chop House – Steakhouse 🥩 The steak is absolutely(so darn good)! Their soups and steak tacos are also great. This spot is near the airport ✈️—best to make a reservation before going 3️⃣ Korea House – Korean 🇰🇷 This is a small mother-daughter run restaurant with limited daily supply. If you go after 6 PM, we’ve been turned away several times because they ran out of food 🥲. This July 4th week, we went early only to find a note on the door saying they were on vacation 🏖️. Even so, it’s still one of our favorite restaurants! Their ingredients are very fresh (maybe they don’t over-purchase,), and every dish is authentic. I love their beef soup and seafood tofu stew 🍲; other dishes like spicy stir-fried squid, grilled beef, and chicken are also excellent. It’s located in the northeast area. Other places like Mesa Street Grill, Rulis' International Kitchen, Crave Kitchen and Bar are also really good! 😋 #ElPaso#FoodHunting#Travel#Food#AmericanLife
