Spain | Dalí Theatre-Museum 🥚
🎭It's been a month, and I've been lazy, but autumn has arrived, and I finally remembered to make some notes 📝😂. I want to recommend a lesser-known but very worthwhile museum to friends who come to play in Barcelona. 🎭The hometown of the surrealist master Dalí is in a small town called Figueres, next to Barcelona. Dalí personally created this museum in his hometown and even buried himself in the basement of the museum. 🎭The museum is very beautiful and interesting. You can see various works of Dalí, including paintings, sculptures, and art installations. Many of the works are magical and astonishing. However, we regret not buying an audio guide. There are no guiding texts or card-style work introductions in the museum. It is recommended to buy an audio guide when visiting because many works allow you to feel his design ingenuity and his capture and recreation of his fantastic dreams. But without knowing his design concept, that is, why he designed it this way, it's hard to understand. There are also few online guided tours for this museum, and even on TripAdvisor, there are none. 🎭Regarding transportation: I bought the ticket on trainline, starting from Barcelona-Sants to Figue-Vilafant. The journey takes an hour, and it's a 20-minute walk from the station to the museum. 🎭About buying tickets: You don't need to rush to buy tickets for this museum. I've seen people buying tickets on the spot, but if friends are uncomfortable not buying tickets in advance, you can refer to my strategy. 🎭Dalí's former residence is also open to the public in Figueres, and you can buy tickets in advance to visit both. We were in a hurry and only went to the museum. If you plan to visit both, it is recommended to reserve a day for the round trip. #Spain #Barcelona #BarcelonaSpot #DalíTheatreMuseum #BarcelonaAroundSpot #Surrealism
