Spain 🇪🇸|Málaga + Jellyfish Sea Town
Just a 2.5-hour bus ride from Seville, you’ll arrive in Málaga—a perfect city for aimless wandering. This compact town is ideal for relaxing and strolling at your own pace. 🎨 Picasso Museum Málaga Málaga is Picasso’s birthplace. The museum houses his original works, along with pieces by other artists influenced by him. 🎭 Centre Pompidou Málaga A colorful cube-shaped building by the sea—great for photos! 📸 🏖️ Playa la Malagueta Málaga’s most vibrant beach, where you’ll find the iconic sign in ⛪️ Málaga Cathedral (Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga) If you’ve already visited the cathedral in Seville, you can skip this one. 🍽️ Foodie Spots ✨ ☕️ Casa Aranda A must-try in Spain: churros! Pair them with hot coffee and their delicious, not-too-sweet chocolate sauce. 🥗 Casa Lola Tapas galore! Don’t miss the roasted potatoes and padrón peppers, or try the Iberian pork. 🍧 Mira No trip is complete without gelato! Mira’s "Málaga" flavor is unique—hints of wine and raisins. Also, Stracciatella (milk gelato with chocolate chunks) is a classic must-try. 🍰 La Tarta de la Madre de Cris Their cheesecake comes in various flavors. We tried the original + brownie base—simple but worth a taste. 🩵 Half-Day Trip to Nerja (Jellyfish Sea Town) Book bus tickets via Omio or Alsa. Depart from Estación de Autobuses de Málaga, and head straight to Balcón de Europa upon arrival. The ride takes 1 hour, and 2-3 hours is enough to explore the town. Standing at the edge of the seaside terrace, listening to a street musician strumming folk songs on their guitar, with endless, crystal-clear blue waters stretching ahead—the blend of music and waves made this one of the most healing moments of my year. #Málaga #Travel #Spain #OceanVibes 🌊
