Spain Barcelona’s Famous Restaurant Colom

💕💕Heard it’s a trendy spot with a good Google review score. The first night I went, there was a long line outside, but I was too hungry to wait. The “long line” is no joke; there were really a lot of people waiting. This time, I didn’t give up and managed to get in after queuing for about 10 minutes, before it got too crowded. The Spanish guys in the restaurant were very enthusiastic, maybe because I had a kid with me. I ordered their signature squid ink rice seafood paella 🥘, garlic shrimp 🦐, and mussels. The garlic shrimp fresh out of the kitchen was incredibly aromatic, sizzling and bubbling 🫧. The mussels were delicious but not spicy, not as salty and a bit spicy as the ones I had near Sagrada Familia. But still, very tasty. The mustard mussels had a good portion, but they weren’t as big as the ones at Sagrada Familia. The taste was decent, not bad at all. The best was still the squid ink rice, which left my mouth all black, but it was so satisfying! Coming to Spain fulfilled my biggest wish for seafood paella freedom. It’s much cheaper than Bay Area Spanish food, so I pretty much order paella every day! #SpainTravel #SpanishSeafoodPaella #Barcelona #paella #SpanishCuisine #BarcelonaFood #ColomRestaurant #BarcelonaFunAndFood #BarcelonaFoodExploration #BarcelonaTravel
