Spending an Afternoon Sipping Wine Atop the Hill š·āØ
Finally made it to Temecula for some wine tasting near Los Angeles! Iād previously visited wineries in Paso Robles on the way back from Yosemite to LAāthis was my second wine country experience, and now Iām even more excited to explore Napa Valleyās vineyards someday šā¤ļø This time we chose Altisima Winery, said to have the best views since itās up on a hill (though honestly, it felt more like a small slope š ). You can gaze out over the landscape from there. But truth be toldāthe scenery was just okay. What really stood out was the relaxed vibe and excellent service! š When you arrive, you choose between dining or wine tasting: Wine Tasting: $30 for 5 glasses of wine š„ If you later decide to dine at the restaurant, you can bring your tasting wines to your table. We ordered two tapas, but one was missing an ingredientāso the restaurant not only replaced it with a new dish but also comped it! The new dish was delicious, and the service was absolutely top-notch. šÆ š Outdoor Space: The backyard has a lawn and patio chairsāyou donāt need to be dining; just grab your wine and find a spot to relax. That day, there was even a live jazz band performing š·š¶, creating such a lovely atmosphere. But since it was a Sunday, people started leaving around 6 PM, and the winery was closing. Sadly, I only exchanged for 4 glassesāmissed the last one š„² Hope to come back again someday and make up for that last glass with a sparkling wine. Then itāll feel complete! š„š« #TemeculaWineries #LALife #NearLA #WeekendGetaway #WineTasting #CaliforniaWine #RelaxingVibes #OutdoorDining #JazzAndWine
