Split | Who Knew Croatia Was This Delicious?!

This Croatia trip happened because of a Split local friend who introduced us to authentic spots loved by residents too! 🌟 Kantun Paulina My pick for "Croatian Burger" 🍔! Features ćevapi (local sausage)—savory and juicy. The bread looks dry but is surprisingly soft. Pro tip: Load it with cheese—game changer! 🌟 Zlatna Ribica Famous for fried seafood. We got a mixed platter (small fish + squid + shrimp). The fried fish 🐟 was tender, but the shrimp 🦐 stole the show—crazy crispy shells (edible!) with bouncy, fresh meat. So good we ordered extra shrimp! 🌟 Sladoledarnica Emiliana Split has many gelato spots, but this one had a 20-meter queue at 11 PM! Ultra-stretchy, rich ice cream—worth the hype. 🌟 Restaurant Adriatic Harbor-side dining with killer views. The seafood platter appetizer was stellar. Risotto, steak, and pasta were all solid too! 🌟 Bepa! Our brunch savior! Wanted to try 4.9-rated Ciri Biri Bela but skipped the long wait. Bepa’s short menu delivered—Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, and yogurt bowls were crowd-pleasers. Perfect for lazy square-side lounging. 🌟 Sug! (Michelin 2022) LOVED IT. My top recommendation—flawless dishes, service, and ambiance. Ordered the seafood platter (even better than Adriatic’s, though oysters were meh) and a showstopping seafood risotto. Cooked in fish stock with chopped oysters, each bite was layers of umami. Their cocktails? Next-level. My Sug (rum + citrus + white wine) burst with floral and fruity notes—best in years! 🌟 Bakra - Steak & Pizza Bar For non-seafood lovers: burgers, steaks, and pizzas 🍕. Carnivore heaven! #Croatia #SplitTravelGuide #CroatianFood #EuropeTravelTips
