Had really high expectations for this place as i got it recommend by some people. Staff was kind, the only reason for not giving a one star was because our waiter did his best despite the situation. Nice guy. However the food was honestly an embarrassment to this country and it’s values. Started off alright, had pretty tasty and good sized drinks with a tuna pate couvert. We also had some starters, both the tartars were good and the carpaccio i had was just alright. I would’ve gone with the tartar if i knew.

After this it took a big turn tho. Waited almost 2 hours for the food and when we got it, it was just sad honestly. This place should have high quality and enjoyable sea food, but this was not the case. The lobster was 100€ a piece and was overcooked to the point of us considering returning it and sending it back. The tuna steak was really thin compared to what you expect, also overcooked and could be compared with the canned tuna you would find at any store. The shrimps were alright but was also slightly overcooked, not as bad as the other dishes mentioned tho. Seems like the chefs started making the food and just forgot about it. There was a wedding event at the same time, which they maybe prioritised over all of the other customers trying to have an enjoyable evening. Monkfish was alright but not spectacular, and it was the same situation with the steak linguine, if you could even call it that as there was barely any meat in the dish.

The disappointment, steep price combined with the waiting time was enough for us to drop out on the dessert and we took a frustrated trip back home feeling unfulfilled. I would strongly advise NOT to take a chance on this place. Considering all of the other good reviews, this was maybe something we were a bit unlucky experiencing — but still — this was just a regretful and downcast time eating out in Split. As i have made it clear, this was not a good time and i would not wish this experience on anyone and i do not recommend this place. There are many other places were you get much better food, a...

We chose this restaurant because it had great reviews and by the pictures, food looked very good. I had the best expectations and received the worst disappointment of my life. If I could give 0 stars I would, specially regarding service since our waiter was the most rude, arrogant and clueless person. Starting with a "mandatory" couvert, that we didn't ask for and thought it was complimentary, since we had to wait so long to get our starters, but they failed to mention it was going to be charged. Then, for main course we asked for one of their so called specialities - Monkfish with truffle sauce. Skip on that dish for your sake. The fish was raw, cold inside and tough/chewy. We told respectfully to the waiter the fish was raw and cold and his answer was "That's. Not. Possible", in the most rude tone possible. After that, we waited for a new dish. Eventhough the fish was more cooked this time, it was tough, chewy and tasteless. Clearly they use frozen fish! The waiter then comes again and asks "Is it good now?" - again in a very rude and arrogant tone. To complete the very good experience (please note the sarcasm), they left us waiting 15min for the bill (which I had to ask two times) and the same waiter in the end, thanked us for the review my friend did here on Google reviews (while we were waiting for the bill) with the same very unpleasant tone. Hope you read this one too or hear about it. Overall, AVOID THIS PLACE! Overpriced considering you eat frozen, tasteless food and have to be all night harassed by...

Where do I begin…

We show up on time for our reservation at 21:45 with a group of 5, they inform us that the table hasn’t been set. Instead of having us wait at the entrance for the table to be ready they have us stand in the middle of the restaurant waiting a good 10 minutes.

We finally sit down at 22:00 at a giant circle table meant for 10 people. It takes until 22:30 for the waiter to take our order. Fast forward, It has now been an hour and a half of waiting and still no food. At this point we are starving as it has been 2 hours since we’ve sat down.. we call the waiter over and tell him we want to pay for our drinks and leave. As the waiter goes to get our bill another waiter comes out with our food.

We decided to eat it because we were starving at this point. Considering the price was very expensive, we were expecting a high quality meal. We got the complete opposite, the linguini tasted microwaved with stale and tough meat. Neither me or my friend could finish 1/4 of it. The tuna steak was slightly warm, which tasted like it’s been sitting ready to serve for a while.

At this point we felt ripped off €35 for a pasta I couldn’t even finish without feeling sick.. we told the waiter to politely inform the chef that the food quality was no good and we were met with a snarky comment in return “well you should’ve told me earlier”.

Very disappointed, don’t come here unless you’re willing to eat overpriced, low quality food...
