Palouse Falls The final stretch of road leading to the falls is specially treated – and super bumpy! 🚗💨 It felt like a full-body massage 😅. This might be designed to increase friction and slow vehicles down, preventing accidents with local wildlife. From the parking lot, it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the falls. Along the path, you can hear rustling in the tall grass – likely ground squirrels or other small creatures 🐾 (my boyfriend joked it was a rattlesnake and totally freaked me out 😱). The waterfall itself is absolutely spectacular! Nested in a natural amphitheater-like canyon, it echoes with power.
