Spokane Road Trip Guide 🌾 Otherworldly Palouse Wheat Field Adventure!

Steptoe Butte State Park We finally made it to the legendary Palouse Wheat Fields – the most anticipated part of our trip! Though it was cloudy today and the sunset was hidden behind the layers, the light was still magical. On the way up the hill, we passed a stunning canola flower field 🌼 along the highway – so breathtaking that we plan to return tomorrow morning to explore a trail winding through it! From the top of Steptoe Butte, you get a 360-degree panoramic view of the rolling wheat fields 🌀 (you can park right along the guardrail). The colors of the fields shift noticeably before and after sunset – both equally stunning in person.
