Spokane Trip | A Hidden Gem on the Way to Spokane! ๐
We finally made it to Spokane over the long weekend โ and discovered a true treasure along the way! This restaurant is located in Moses Lake, right on the route to Spokane. Sharing this find for anyone planning a trip to Spokane soon! Moses Lake is one of the larger towns along the Seattle โ Spokane drive, less than 3 hours from Seattle. Itโs the perfect pit stop to refresh and refuel. ๐ Michael's on the Lake A beautiful lakeside restaurant with views overlooking Moses Lake ๐ . We didnโt have high expectations at first, but wow โ the food surprised us in the best way! ๐ Appetizer: Pork Belly Crispy fried pork belly that was rich but not greasy, glazed with a tangy American-style sauce and served over fresh shredded greens. So good! ๐ Seafood Fettuccine I played it safe with this classic, and while it was decent, it didnโt quite shine. The fettuccine wasnโt handmade (tasted like home-style pasta), and the white sauce was a bit heavy ๐ . But the shrimp? Sweet and super fresh! ๐ฆ Moses Lake is known for its local seafood โ though I wish theyโd been more generous with the jumbo shrimp. ๐ SHOWSTOPPER ENTRรE โ Must Order! Dungeness Crab Stuffed Chicken ๐๐ฆ My friend randomly picked this, and it was a winner! Tender chicken breast stuffed with fresh Dungeness crab meat, pan-seared to a perfect crisp. I shamelessly stole half of his portion โ no regrets! ๐ฅ Garlic Mashed Potatoes Rich, garlicky, and with that real potato texture we love โ not overly processed. So comforting! ๐ง Bรฉarnaise Sauce Buttery, flavorful, and not heavy โ usually served with steak, but it elevated the chicken and veggies to another level. We cleaned our plates completely! After hours of driving, this meal was exactly what we needed to recharge and keep the vacation vibes going strong ๐ชโจ.
